Day four of blog every day in May is your favorite quote. I've been thinking about it all morning. There are so many amazing quotes out there. I knew I wanted it to be from a book, but even narrowing it down like that still made it difficult. I have so many favorite books with several amazing quotes. I eventually chose a book that has more hi-liter marks than all the rest. "Still Life With Woodpecker" by Tom Robbins. I can't tell you how many times I've read this book (and how many copies I've gone through...) This is my favorite quote from the book. I love how full of itself it is, and how it happens on page 4/5. I love how it sets up the entire book and sums everything up without giving anything away. I love how it asks the question we are all trying to answer, "who knows how to make love stay?" And in the end, you find out the answer.
I highly recommend checking out any and all of Tom Robbin's books. They are each amazing in their own way.

I love that book. I think my favorite of his is Another Roadside Attraction though my favorite quote is from Still life... "It's never too late to have a happy childhood"
