I knew there would be a lot of antiques and a ton of things out of our price range. Even though I know next to nothing about antiques it was still fun to look at it all. If we had more money, and a bigger house, there would have been several things that would have came home with us.
The show started at 9:00 and we were there around 9:30. Traffic was a breeze and it wasn't that crowded. We took Story with us. Love her to pieces, but she is terrible when we go out to places like that. She wants to walk and touch everything. We spent majority of the time passing her off and then telling her to stay with us and to look and not touch. We didn't stay long and didn't get to see it all. We do have a 5 day pass so maybe we'll go back tomorrow or Sunday.
I really liked this unicorn. Such an unusual piece. Story liked it too, even if she would rather make a silly face than look at the camera. She's going through that, "I will ruin every single one of your pictures, Mom!" phase.
Had to get a picture of the baby in there. Story talks about babies all the time. She tells me at least once a week that she wants a baby in the house. I tell her no, every time.
Didn't get very many pictures. We were both busy wrangling Story. Overall it was a fun experience. Hopefully when we go again we will have a sitter, so that Story can have a fun time as well.
On a different note: Sorry for the lack of posts. Halloween was a busy time for us. Jordan started working this month and my schedule has stayed the same. We've been pretty busy, and we're both really tired. I do have plans to work of the living room this week. I will post when something exciting happens. Thanks for staying with me. :)
Looks like fun! I love a good antique show.
